Julius Agwu storms Oklahoma … as the Nigerian Independence Bash heats up

For the first time, the city of Oklahoma will witness the rib-cracking performances of one of Nigeria’s finest comedian, Julius Agwu. The ace comedian who boasts of a heavy fan base in Oklahoma will be the first Nigerian celebrity to storm the city.

In a highly anticipated cultural and entertainment event tagged the Nigerian Independence Bash, scheduled for Saturday, October 18 Julius Agwu, with special support from Nigeria’s finest deejays, Dj Flava, DJ Phemstar and Dj F.Fem – based in Maryland, USA – as well as several Nigerian acts will be performing live in the groundbreaking event which enthusiasts anticipate will become the official bash during the fall.  The event is made possible by Ovacom Media – a fast rising international PR and Media Company headed by US based Nigerian.

“I’ve organized two independence events in the past when I was president of the Nigerian student association at the University of Central Oklahoma, where we hosted high class diplomats, and showcased many Nigerian artistes based in the United States.

This year I’m taking the Nigerian Independence Bash a couple of notches higher by flying over Nigerian celebrities from Nigeria. We intend to expand Nigerian entertainment markets in the US by promoting a cultural event that will bring about change, diversity and unity among Africans and non Africans not only in Oklahoma but in all of the United States and in the world at large,” says Victoria Adigun, CEO of Ovacom Media who is highly optimistic of the opportunities the Nigerian Independence Bash will provide Nigerian artistes and showbiz entrepreneurs.

While Nigerians from across the globe are looking to celebrate Nigeria’s 48th independence anniversary in style at the groundbreaking event, Ovacom Media looks at the bigger scheme of things and is confident that the Nigerian Independence Bash will in the near future grow to become the biggest annual cultural event in the United States.
