Why I am called ‘The Bridge’ – Mr Kool

In a music scene where mediocrity has often been applauded, true artists have separated themselves and remained unique and creative and have stayed bent on churning out only top-notch materials. One of such is the veteran, sensational R&B singer Mr. Kool. However his long awaited third album , titled Across The Bridge, takes a very different toll and reveals a different side of the R&B singer.

Mr. Kool who often refers to himself as ‘the bridge’ revealed that the reason behind his new name and new direction in his third outing:

“Critics often describe my style of music as the bridge between the old school and the new school, and that is who I really am. I am The Bridge. My third album is the perfect blend of butter and gutter, sophistication and simplicity. In this album I explore different frontiers and styles of music which may shock many of my fans. However the songwriting is exceptionally Mr. Kool,” says the r&b singer whose 14 track Cd cuts across the young and the mature music listeners; drawing the attention of music lovers from the Church, to the clubs, to the streets, and to the bedrooms.

The album also features production inputs and guest appearances, from OJB Jezreel, ID Cabasa, Rymzo, Ruggedman, Konga, Daddy Showkey and few others with Mr Kool on hand directing the entire production.

Across The Bridge, is Mr Kool’s third outing following Breaking Ice and Still Kool. It is released under his independent imprint, 2Kool Records.
