Fresh, rap’s self proclaimed heavyweight champion, who was formerly known as Dr Fresh, has stated that his name change was as a result of his need to re-brand himself and repackage his music to suit the ever evolving trend in Hiphop music.

“The music industry all over the world is going through a revolutionary change, and so has my music. I am bouncing back with a fresh sound and a fresh style, ready for a fresh start in the industry” says Fresh who has resurfaces into the Nigerian music scene after a three year hiatus.
