I still don’t buy the stunts the Pan-African KORA All-Africa Music Awards organizers have pulled with the Best African act category. anyway, I have received several emails requesting that i post the nominee list.
over 70 african talents are competing for the whooping $1m cash prize for the Best African Act and 35 of these remarkable talents hail from the West African region..and (of course) the host country, Nigeria dominates with 11 nominees that include:
2face Idibia – if love is a crime
Asa – fire
D’banj – why me
Infinity – olori oko
Olu Maintain- yahoozee
P-square – do me
Rooftop MCs- la gi mo
Sammie Okposo and X Generation – many reasons (no more drama)
Sasha P – adara
Ty bello – freedom
X-project - lori le
Yinka ayefele n his merry maker band – odun ikore

Watch out for the Botswana Traditional group Dikakapa in the best Southern African Category. The group is too good more so that it plays pure tswana cultural music not to mention their dance style.Just like the group’s name,They are physically strong.
Why did you people forget to mention ACHO who is also a Nigerian who was nominated for best african artist/grpoup in the caribean. You should do your research well before publishing
What more can one say its naija andwe’re ahead of the game well i’m sure a Nigerian will take money home,i almost like its for olu because the song that took him to the lime light is related to the money haha but i believe the D banj is the best art,he’s not really a great singer but he has the energy to entertain and that’s just what makes an artiste.
why is 9ice not nominated? this is very bad cos d guy is doing great
2face is the winner

i know the winner 2face , however , there is this group from cameroon .they are super.their music is so original .this is not wishful thinking iknow they are standing along great names. but this is the time for change . they are bringing the kora in their category.bright phase is their name so their music bring home that stuff
